Jeni's Ice Creams -Stained Glass Window & Upfit
In the artistic neighborhood, of Montrose, Texas, I collaborated with the architectural team on an upfit for Jeni's Ice Creams.
The existing exterior would remain the same, staying reflective to the eclectic nature of the neighborhood and the community. While assisting on late-stage construction documents for the project in the final phase, I also worked with the client to redesign a stained-glass window that would fit in the existing window above the entry. The original artist submitted a design that the client and team did not match the aesthetic of the brand and felt too traditional for the project. The client requested a redesign that would better reflect the contemporary feel of Jeni's brand, while adhering to the size limitations and style of the building.

Original design created by the fabricator. The style felt too traditional and did not fit well with the client's brand.

Studies for the direction and branding colors. The Ice cream cone shape and size was an important feature of the brand, and so we incorporated the type of cone as well as more flavors into the style of the stained glass window.
