Wildlight, Florida
Located in Yulee, Florida just north of Jacksonville, Wildlight is a multi-use development proposed to include residential communities, commercial centers, natural and outdoor amenities, and civic uses. Various scopes of work were completed during my time at 505Design including the design of several commercial buildings, a residential guidelines document, pavilion structures, and an adaptive reuse of an existing office building in coordination with the design team, environmental designers, and landscape architects.

Wildlight Pavilion Structures Schematic Design
I worked closely with the oversight of the design team to study options for an outdoor picnic shelter, toilet room pavilion, and boathouse. Themes and design ideas were derived using natural wood materials, traditional forms with contemporary elements, and slat detailing as drivers inline with the vision.
My work on the project consisted of the schematic document creation, concept imagery, schematic design options, design modeling, and working with the existing site parameters and budgets. I also assisted with material and fixture selections and permitting requirements.
